Lisa Edwards

Lisa Edwards is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in the Legal field. Edwards’ professional title is Owner and Attorney at the Law Office of Elizabeth Edwards. Her expertise lies in the area of commercial real estate leasing, and she brings over 27 years of legal experience to her role. “In 2012, I started my own law firm after 15-plus years at Lenrow Kohn and Oliver, P.C.,” Edwards said. “Since 1990, most of my practice has been in drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts, including commercial real estate leases, sales agreements and other real estate documents. For the last 15-plus years, I have reviewed and negotiated leases for a very successful retail tenant, with over 200 stores in airports and malls nationwide.”

In addition to her primary client, Edwards “represents both residential and commercial landlords, tenants, contractors, builders and lenders.” Edwards earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English, Summa cum Laude, from Temple University in 1986. She then went on to complete her Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland School of Law in 1990. Edwards names Jim Oliver as her professional mentor. When not working, Edwards devotes time to animal-related causes, especially the ASPCA. Additionally, she enjoys horses, dogs, dressage and interior design. “I had the pleasure of teaching dressage and managing many home remodeling and interior design projects during the last 25 years,” Edwards said. She also cites Germany as her favorite vacation place. Edwards dedicates this recognition to the loving memory of her grandmother, Elizabeth Banker.
