Steven Jay Kumble

We specialize in working personally with entrepreneurs and management teams to assist companies in realizing their untapped potential.” Prior to founding Corinthian Capital with his partners, Kumble “has served as a Director of a number of private and public corporations including the Goodrich Investors Group, GIT Realty and Mortgage Investors, Transcontinental Communications, Cobra Industries, National Airlines and Lincolnshire Management,” the website continues. Additionally, he “served on active duty from 1955 to 1957 as a First Lieutenant in the United States Army, attached to the First Infantry Division and later to the Tenth Mountain Division.” Before the formation of Corinthian Capital, Kumble was a Founding Partner of Finley, Kumble, Wagner, Underberg, Manley and Casey, “where for two decades, he specialized in corporate law,” according to his bio featured on the firm’s website. “In 1986, Kumble formed Lincolnshire Management, a middle-market private equity firm, with the late Frank C. Wright, Jr., and served as Lincolnshire Management’s Chairman until 2005. During 20 years as Chairman, Lincolnshire completed buyout transactions involving enterprise values aggregating over $1 billion.” Kumble earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale University. He then went on to complete his Juris Doctor at Harvard Law School, and holds an honorary LL.D. from Long Island University.
