Charlotte Larsen

 

Charlotte Larsen is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in the fields of Film and Media Production. Larsen is the Founder and Creative Director of and an Actor and Producer at Random Group, which has three divisions: Random Films, Propeller Studios and Cuba Creative. Her expertise lies in the areas of acting, producing, day-to-day operations, film, theater and film financing. “I’ve worked in the film industry for over 10 years,” Larsen said. “I’ve been in my current position since 2012, and recently wrapped filming ‘The Last Train,’ in which I had a small role.”

Larsen earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Film and Theater at Victoria University of Wellington in 2005. She then went on to study Filmmaking, Producing and Directing at the University of Southern California in 2006 as well as attend the Stella Adler Academy of Acting and Theatre where she earned a Diploma in Acting in 2013. She then earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from California Southern University in 2013, trained at the University of Southern California in Directing and Producing at Universal Studios and trained further at the New York Film Academy, LAMDA and City Lit College. Additionally, she speaks French as well as English.

To further her professional development, Larsen is a member of Women in Film and the National Association of Professional Women, and is the Founder and a member of the Board of Trustees of Emerging Artists Trusts. Current projects for the Random Group and headed by Larsen include “Lost Angels,” which is nominated for six awards at the Northern Virginia Film Festival; “Gloria,” which will be released in New York and Los Angeles after premiering at SXSW; and “Bella,” which is in development stages both in the United States and New Zealand. When not working, Larsen enjoys watching movies, reading and traveling. She dedicates this recognition to the loving memory of her grandfather, Sir John Todd.
