Dorota Kamieniecki is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional Member in the field of Warm, Unique Apparel. Skating Designs was started by Kamieniecki in honor of her daughter, Ola, who began skating at the age of three. Ola is now 20 years old, and is studying to be a doctor. According to the Skating Designs website, Kamieniecki feels that, “When the customer feels good about their clothing, they will be more confident and happy when they wear the clothes at any occasion or activity.” Kamieniecki is currently the President and Owner of Skating Designs, LLC, and Turnpex, and considers her professional areas of expertise to be design, marketing and business development. The companies specialize in figure skating clothing, accessories and regular apparel. They use a range of high-quality, breathable materials to manufacture clothing and matching outfits for their clients. In order to further her professional development and network, Kamieniecki maintains a membership with the National Association of Professional Women. In addition, as an avid helper of those in need, she frequently donates clothing to several charities. Throughout the course of her educational career, Kamieniecki earned her Master’s degree in Biology and Microbiology from the University of Gdansk, in Poland. She is fluent in Polish and Russian as well as English. Outside of work, Kamieniecki enjoys traveling and hiking. She dedicates this recognition to her daughter Ola Kamieniecki and son, Pawel Kamieniecki, who constantly volunteer their time to help the less fortunate.
