Silvia Rocha-Espino

Silvia Rocha-Espino is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in the Human Resources field. Espino’s professional title is Director of Human Resources at Kaiser Permanente, which specializes in healthcare. She brings over 15 years of career experience, as well as expertise in the areas of leadership development, as well as performance and talent management, to her role. “Serving as a Human Resources Director, I support Kaiser’s pharmacy segment, based out of Downey, California,” Espino said. “I provide a broad range of HR support actions for achieving business objectives including talent management, organization effectiveness and employee engagement. I facilitate solutions to employee and leadership issues by developing and implementing HR strategy, policies and processes, and proactive development and coaching of leaders.” Prior to joining the team at Kaiser Permanente, Espino worked for the likes of companies including Zodiac Aerospace and Honeywell International. Espino earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from York University in 2002, as well as a second Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Fundacion Universidad de las Americas in Puebla, A.C. in 2003. She then went on to complete her Master of Business Administration degree from Thunderbird School of Global Management in 2015. In addition to her degrees, Espino holds a Human Resources Manager Certification from Conestoga College that she completed in 2009, is a Certified Green Belt and speaks Spanish as well as English. To further her professional development, Espino is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management as well as the National Association of Professional Women, which honored as a 2017 member of its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. In recognition of her outstanding accomplishments in the field, Espino is the recipient of the Bravo Award in Human Resources Leadership from Honeywell, the Bravo Award for OD&L from Honeywell and was named HR Professional of the Year by Worldwide Who’s Who in 2012. Espino dedicates this recognition to her husband, Omar and to her son, Sebastian.
