Bernard A. Kansky

Bernard A. Kansky, Esq., is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a 2017 Pinnacle Lifetime Member in recognition of his contributions to the Legal field. Kansky serves as an attorney in his own practice, Kansky & Associates, Attorneys at Law. He brings over 53 years of career experience as a senior attorney for obtaining disability benefits, including the area of recovery disability benefits law, to his role. The firm of Kansky & Associates has been practicing in the Greater Boston area since 1964 in the areas of Social Security and Disability Benefits. Kansky and his team of attorneys have handled several notable cases including one resulting in a $21 million settlement for harassment, PTSD and disability. Additionally, the firm was featured in the Chicago Tribune regarding a high-profile Social Security case in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, in which it won $2,000,400 for a client. Kansky attended Boston Latin School and graduated in 1957. He then went on to complete his Bachelor’s degree at Boston University, as well as earned his Juris Doctorate and LL.B. degrees from Boston University Law School. He placed a special focus on law as it pertains to economics, and participated in both the Chess and Rifle Clubs throughout his collegiate career, and always had a part-time job. One former client says that Kansky, “Takes care of whatever issue you may need him for and will do the best job he can. Very Trustworthy with a consistent reliable result while always keeping his clients in mind,” as per a testimonial from Kansky’s LinkedIn. To further his professional development, Kansky is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association. Additionally, he is the co-founder of the National CFID Foundation, a nationwide charity created to research and treat rare medical disorders, and has served as an M.B.A. mentor since the 1980s. He also writes regular articles in a quarterly newsletter, The National Forum, which answers questions and addresses the issues raised by the victims of these disabling but poorly understood diseases. Prior to establishing the firm of Kansky & Associates, Kansky worked at the firm of F. Lee Bailey and Associates from 1964- 1970, and as a Senior Partner at the firm of Hillman & Kansky. In recognition of his outstanding work in the field, Kansky was named to Who’s Who of Top Attorneys and Heritage Who’s Who.
