Mark L. Karno is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Law in recognition of his role as Managing Member of Mark L. Karno and Associates, LLC.
With over thirty years of experience in the field of Law, Mr. Mark L. Karno is revered for his outstanding contributions to the legal profession. Throughout his career, Mr. Karno has attained extensive experience in the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice, and public speaking. While pursuing his educational endeavors, Mr. Karno attended the Illinois Institute of Technology Chicago-Kent College of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor degree in 1982. In his previous years, Mr. Karno attended the University of Illinois where he attained his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance
To further enhance his professional development, Mr. Karno is a distinguished fellow of several prominent organizations including the Illinois State Bar Association, Board of Governors, 2012- 2013, 2014 - 2017; Illinois State Bar Association Assembly, 2010 - 2014; Illinois State Bar Association, Civil Practice & Procedure Section Council, Member, 2007-2013, 2017 - Present; Illinois State Bar Association, Civil Practice & Procedure Section Council, Chair, 2011 - 2012; Illinois State Bar Association, Civil Practice & Procedure Section Council, Board of Governors Liaison, 2016 - 2017; and more. Mr. Karno has also participated in several Pro bono activities for the Illinois Bar Foundation of which he has served as a member of the Board of Directors, Treasurer, and Co-chair of the 2015 GALA Fundraiser.
In recognition of his professional accolades, Mr. Karno was AV Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell. In addition, Mr. Karno was named Super Lawyer from 2009-2011 and 2013-2017, and rated 10 out of 10 on AVVO, since 2012. A distinguished scholar, Mr. Karno is the Co-editor of Tort Trends, Publication of the Tort Law, Changes on the Horizon for Trial Lawyers, and The Seventh Circuit’s Jury Trial Project 42 ISBA Tort Trends No. 3, September, 2006. When he is not working, Mr. Karno enjoys bicycling, exercising, and dining out.
