Mary Jo Iozzio, Ph.D. is recognized by Continental Who’s Who among Professors. Mary Jo is Professor of Theology at Barry University.
Mary Jo consistently provides knowledge, opportunities for moral growth, and ethics expertise to students of Barry University. Her areas of expertise include fundamental moral theology, bioethics, feminist ethics, disability studies, anti-racism, social justice, virtue ethics, and liberation theologies.
Mary Jo is a member of the American Academy of Religion, Catholic Theological Society of America, Pax Christi USA, Society of Christian Ethics, and she serves on Catholic Hospice of Miami Dade Ethics Committee, Mercy Hospital Ethics Board, Bon Secours Health System Inc. Ethics CWW Member Profile Advisory Board, Catholic Health Association Theologian Ethicists Committee, and the Pax Christi USA Anti-Racism Team. An internationally recognized author and collaborator, she is co-editor of the Journal of the Society of Christian Ethics and general editor of the book series Content and Context in Theological Ethics (Palgrave Macmillan).
Mary Jo completed her Pre-Doctoral studies at Providence College, Fordham University, and Pennsylvania State University.
