Dr. Victor G. Freeman, M.D., M.P. P. is recognized by Continental Who's Who among Medical Professionals. Doctor Freeman is a Senior Medical Advisor in the federal Office of Health Information Technology & Quality. His office is part of the Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) of the US Department of Health & Human Dr. Victor G. Freeman Services, Dr. Freeman gave up his work in Biotechnology/Pharmaceuticals for a career change to public service. His current supports safety net care providers in adopting electronic health records and in optimizing quality care for poor and vulnerable patient populations in both urban and rural settings across the Continental United States. He provides Bio—Technology, Health Policy, Drug Cost Management, Patient Safety, and Health Information Technology Insight.
In addition, he is extremely invested in the field of Clinic/Hospital Management and ensuring Quality Improvement within Healthcare Practices. Additionally, Dr. Freeman is a part of many Professional Associations. He is a member of the American Medical Association (A.M.A), National Medical Association (N.M.A), Medical Society of The District of Columbia, American Health Information Management Association.
In recognition of his expertise and professional endeavors, Dr. Freeman has been awarded many professional honors in the field of Medicine. During his training, he was honored with the “Outstanding Community Service Award" by Stanford University Medical School, and also recognized for his early accomplishment as a “Leader of The Future" by Ebony Magazine.
Several of his subsequent honors include the Dr. Charles Epps Ill Memorial “Community Service" Award, given by the Medical Society of the District of Columbia. He also received the AMA/Glaxo Program “Emerging Physician Leader" honor by the American Medical Association's National Leadership Development Program.
Dr. Freeman received his BA from Harvard University, and his MD from Stanford Medical School. Furthermore, he received his Master’s Degree in Public Policy (MPP) from Georgetown University. In addition to his prestigious Educational Career, Dr. Freeman is also a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality.
