Dr. Rebecca Hierholzer MD, M.B.A., F.A.C.E.P. is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as 2013 Woman of the Year as a result of her role as the President and Chief Executive Officer of COVERSA (Collection Of Victim Evidence Regarding Sexual Assault), as well as the Medical Director.

Services; Collaborate with Legal and Judicial Representatives and Provide Education to the Community Regarding Sexual Assault Issues and Our Vision is to be the Premier Provider of Forensic Nursing Services in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area.

We currently provide services at North Kansas City Hospital, Centerpoint Medical Center, St. Joseph Health Center, Cass Regional Hospital, Ray County Hospital, Lafayette Regional Hospital, Liberty Hospital, Lee’s Summit Health Center, Overland Park Regional Hospital, Belton Regional and in contract negotiation with Research Medical Center at this time. Additionally, Dr. Hierholzer is a member of the Metropolitan Medical Society of Kansas City, AmericanMedical Association, Missouri State Medical Association (MSMA), and represents the MSMA as an AMA Delegate. She also belongs to the Kansas and Missouri American College of Emergency Physicians, American College of Emergency Physicians, International Association of Forensic Nurses, Missouri Association of Forensic Nurses, Mo-Save Board, Kansas City Coalition Against Human Trafficking, as well as KCIRSA (Kansas City Interdisciplinary Response to Sexual Assault) and National Association of Professional Women.
Dr. Hierholzer earned both her BA and MD in Medicine from the University of Missouri, Kansas City, and also holds a Masters of Business Administration in Healthcare from the American Intercontinental University. She is a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and a Clinical Associate
Professor of Emergency Medicine through the University of Missouri, Kansas City School of Medicine.
