Professor Shirley Zinn, Ed.D. is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Education and Human Resource Management as a result of her role as an Extraordinary  Professor with The University of Pretoriam and previous roles in the large corporates. Shirley specializes in Public Speaking; Human  Resources; Performance Management; Talent Management; Remuneration; as well as Succession Planning. As a result of her dedication and professionalism, Shirley has past and present affiliations with the Institute for People Management South Africa; South African Association for Learning and Educational Differences; Monash South Africa (branch of Monash University Australia); Institute of Bankers South Africa; Bank Sector Education andmTraining Authority; Human Capital Institute; as well as the South African Board for Personnel Practice. She currently is a Board Member at AdVtech. Additionally, Shirley has received numerous honors for her work in Education and Human Resource  Management. She was named Top Woman in Business and Government (2008); Top Executive in Corporate South Africa (2008); and Top 30 Wonder Women in South Africa (2012). In addition, she was the winner of Black Business Quarterly’s Most  Visionary Woman in Business and overall Platinum Winner as well as the winner of the Institute for People Management’s Presidential Award for commitment to HR in South Africa. Furthermore, Shirley was a Finalist in CEO Magazine’s Most Influential Women in Business and Government Award: Banking Sector. She was also awarded the Global Human Resource Leadership Award in Mumbai in 2007. Shirley earned her Ed.D. from Harvard University Graduate School of Education, and also holds an M.Ed Degree from Harvard. Shirley received her B.Ed. Honours from the University of South Africa, and her B.A. from the University of the Western Cape.
