Dr. Patrick A. Heelan

Dr. Patrick A. Heelan is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Education as a result of his role as William A. Gaston Professor of Philosophy at Georgetown University.

With over 45 years experience in the field of education, Dr. Heelan focuses on the philosophy of science with a concentration on the philosophy of modern physics with a novel approach from the phenomenological and hermeneutics perspective of Husserl and Heidegger. He has published many papers on the philosophy of the quantum theory, contextual logic, the hermeneutics of theory and experiment, and the task-dependent geometry structure of human spatial vision in everyday life and in pictorial art and architecture. Throughout his impressive educational career, Dr. Heelan earned a M.A. in Physics from the University of Dublin, a M.A. in Philosophy from Milltown Institute of Theology and Philosophy, a B.A. and M.A. in Theology from the University College Dublin, a Ph.D. in Geography and Physics from St. Louis University as well as a Ph.D. in Science from the University of Leuven in Belgium.
