Godfrey U. Mitchell

Godfrey U. Mitchell is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Claim Adjustment Consulting as a result of his role as Owner and Public Adjuster with Godfrey Mitchell and Associates. The public adjuster’s firm of Godfrey Mitchell and Associates was launched in 1999 in response to the Godfrey’s desire to address a need in the community. At the time, Godfrey was working as a Claims Adjuster with Cardinal Claims Service Insurance Company/Pilot Catastrophe and decided to make a switch from representing insurance companies and instead serve as an advocate for the public. Realizing that many property owners had no idea about the steps they needed to follow when trying to collect compensation after a major loss caused by a fire, burglary or water damage, he started the firm in order to make a difference in that important area. As a result of his experience in the field, Godfrey defines a public adjuster as a "highly specialized consumer advocate on property and casualty claims adjustments." He believes that a public adjusters' loyalty is always to the consumer policy holders, never the insurance companies. With this allegiance in mind, Godfrey strives to use his position as a Licensed and Bonded Claims Adjuster to provide the highest quality of advocacy for property owners in the wake of flood, fire, burglary, and vandalism damage. In addition to his role with Godfrey Mitchell and Associates, he is an honored member of the Public Adjuster Association of New York; United Networking

Association; and serves as the Vice President of the Local Chapter of the United Cricket Association.
