Bibi Nafeeza Habib is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Not For Profit-Healthcare as a result of her role as Manager, Department of Program Administration with 1199SEIU Training and Employment Funds  The 1199SEIU Funds are committed to caring for the healthcare workers who care for others through programs and services that build better lives for their members and invest in the workforce to improve patient care and the healthcare industry.

The 1199SEIU Funds are among the strongest and largest labor-management funds in the nation, providing a range of comprehensive benefits to 400,000 working and retired healthcare industry workers members of 1199SEIU United Healthcare Workers Eastand their families. Bibi immigrated to New York from Guyana, and upon her arrival in 1996, she enrolled   in the City University of New York and has been a student ever since. Currently, Bibi works with the development of high quality training, placement and labor-management initiatives, management of multimillion dollar government and private grants through their life cycles from pre- to post,   preparation of financial and program reports, monitoring and tracking of budgets, account receivable cycles and billing for grants funds, state, federal, external and internal audits.

Additionally, Bibi focuses on the analysis and creation of systems reports, development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure quality and efficiency, and building and maintaining professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders. She also holds a   certification in Nonprofit Accounting and Forensic Accounting. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, camping, and traveling. Throughout her educational career, Bibi earned a M.S. in Accounting from Hunter College, City University of New York, and a B.S. in Accounting from York College, City University of New York.
