Aldene Meis Mason is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Education as a result of her role as Assistant Professor at University of Regina Faculty of Business Administration.
The University of Regina is celebrating its 100th anniversary. It is home to 10 faculties and 25 academic departments which have established reputations for excellence and innovative programs leading to bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees. As an Assistant Professor, Aldene teaches undergraduate, graduate and executive courses in strategy, entrepreneurship, and innovation. Her research focuses on entrepreneurship, sustainable development, innovation, and resource management. She is a Certified Human Resource Professional and Certified Management Consultant. Aldene is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Certified Management Consultants.
She recently chaired the Entrepreneurship Division of the Administrative Sciences Association of Canada. She enjoys hiking, camping, reading, and needlework. Prior to joining the Faculty, Aldene’s career spanned more than 20 years as a Human Resources Manager and Consultant in industry and government. Aldene is a Ph.D. Candidate in Management, with a focus on Indigenous Entrepreneurship at the University of Canterbury, New Zealand. She passed her final thesis defense and is currently making revisions. She has receivedan MBA from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, and a BSc. (Kinesiology) from Simon Fraser University.
