Rev. John R. Lee, CSB, Ph.D. is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Education as a result of his role as Retired Faculty Emeritus with St. John Fisher College, a private liberal arts college located in Pittsford, New York.
Reverend Lee is an expert in the field of Archaeology and Human Affairs who taught History at St. John Fisher College. Throughout his tenure, he taught courses on Archeology, conducted extensive industry research, and served as a student mentor. His career with St. John Fisher College began in 1976 and included 20 years of prior experience in the field. Dr. Lee put his vast Archeological knowledge into practice through regular travels to the Middle East where he takes part in the supervision and excavation of archaeological sites. His most accomplished travels have included Pre-Historic digs in Nazareth, Israel, spending ten seasons at one site.
Throughout his educational career, Dr. Lee earned his Ph.D. from Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and also holds a B.A., S.T.B. from the University of Toronto as well as an M.A. in Archaeology from the University of Michigan. He is presently a member of the New York State Archaeological Association; Archaeological Institute of America; Rochester Historical Society Association; and the Rochester Historical Society.
