E. Elaine Schuster

E. Elaine Schuster is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the Legal Profession as a result of her role as an a Attorney with the firm of E. Elaine Schuster, P.C., which was organized in 1982. Ms. Schuster commenced her practice of law with the Whitten and Whitten Law Firm.

Later, she was an Assistant District Attorney for Oklahoma County during the terms of Curtis P. Harris and Andrew M. Coats. In her current position, Ms. Schuster practices in various areas of law including probate, real property, estate planning, corporate, contracts, civil and commercial litigation in a general practice. She participates as a public speaker and leader in numerous community activities. In 1982, Elaine was appointed by Oklahoma Governor George Nigh as a Board member on the original Board of Education of Metro Technology Centers, a public Career Tech District in Oklahoma City. Ms. Schuster continues to serve as a board member, having been re-elected every four years. Metro Tech has expanded from one campus to seven campuses across the metropolitan area. Due to her professional  successes, dedication to her career and community involvement, in 2013, Ms. Schuster was the recipient of the award of a Pathmaker by the Oklahoma City/County Historical Society.

 

Furthermore, Ms. Schuster earned her B.A. from Sweet Briar College in Virginia. She was honored as its sole Distinguished Alumna of 2012 and has represented the college in 2013. She also holds an M.A in Economics and the J.D. from the University of Oklahoma. She is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, the Oklahoma County Bar Association and serves on committees of both. Ms. Schuster incorporated the National Kidney Foundation of Oklahoma and served as a member of the Board for over twenty years. Additionally, she incorporated the Military Park Neighborhood Association and continues to serve as a Trustee and member. Ms. Schuster served three terms as President of the Oklahoma City Branch of the English Speaking Union, and was a charter member of the Oklahoma City/County Historical Society. Presently, Elaine continues to serve as Parliamentarian for the Regional Board of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Oklahoma.
