To further her professional development, she is a member of the National Association of Professional Women, which named her as a member of its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. When not working, O’Connell volunteers her time to cancer and community awareness organizations. She also contributes to the Arthritis Foundation, as well as, Walk a Mile in Her Shoes. Eileen enjoys health, exercise, kayaking, traveling and spending time with her family, pets and friends. O’Connell dedicates this recognition to her husband, John, and to her daughters, Casidhe and Kenzie.
