Corrine Meyer, Manager, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Business as a Manager at Marriott.
Established in May of 1927, Marriott provides clean, comfortable rooms and outstanding customer service. J. William Marriott opened a nine-stole root beer stand which grew into the Hot Shoppes Restaurant chain, eventually evolving into Marriott International hotel company. Under the adept leadership of Ms. Meyer, Marriott runs smoother and more efficiently. She has served in her current capacity since June of 2019.
Specializing in hospitality, Ms. Meyer’s areas of expertise include visionary, leadership, people, mediation, and critical thinking skills. She has recently increased her public speaking and writing skills, becoming an effective communicator. She attributes her success to listening to people, especially ‘the hearts of people’. A source of inspiration, she helps people become the very best they can be and creates family wherever she goes.
Ms. Meyer has attained experience in a variety of fields. Her current career arose after hiking in the mountains and soul searching. She plans to remain in hospitality for quite a few years. Before this role, some of the jobs she held included being a cheerleading coach, plant based chef, health coach, and event planner.
In recognition of academic achievements, Ms. Meyer earned certificates from the Sawyer School of Travel & Tourism and the Graff Academy of Health Sciences. She is in the process of attaining an associate’s degree from Johnson County Community College.
When she is not at work, Ms. Meyer cycles, travels, writes, coaches people, volunteers at homeless shelters, and spends times with her four children Sean, Christopher, Aidan, Alianna. Sean is a photo journalist; Christopher runs a drone photography business; Aidan loves to perform; and Alianna does dancing competitions for her high school team. She dedicates this recognition to them; “they all have been an inspiration and support to me”.
