Ms. White earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at New Jersey Institute of Technology (formerly known as Newark College of Engineering) in 1969. She is an esteemed member of the National Speakers Association and the National Organization of Professional Women. Additionally, Ms. White has participated in Toastmasters International Association as an honored speaker and is a former Member of The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and National Speakers Association. In her spare time, she volunteers as an Inspirational Speaker at service organizations, schools, and child-based organizations, including Gavel Clubs. Outside of her current field, Ms. White is a certified Flight Instructor Airplane Single and Multi-engine by the Federal Aviation Administration. She is a commercially rated pilot with nearly 10 years of professional flying experience.

In her free time, Ms. White is a musician; she plays both the guitar and keyboard. She also is a trained puppeteer and, for some lucky audiences, she uses her puppets to illustrate some of her concepts in a fun and memorable way. She is also a fine artist, preferring to paint and draw. When she is not pursuing these hobbies, she is spending time with her three sons, three grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
