Dave Rozier is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Top Attorney in the field of Law in acknowledgment of his role as the Founder and Attorney at Rozier Law Firm.

Motived by helping others, Mr. Rozier has thirty-three years of legal experience. Before opening a private firm, he served as an Associate, and later a Partner, for McAllister and Mooney from 1987 to 1996. Following this, he was a Shareholder at his current location and a Partner at Adams and Reese. In 1996, he was chosen to be a Municipal Court Judge for the City of Jackson, MS; he remained in this position for over tenyears. After leaving this position, he invested full-time into Rozier Law Firm. In addition to his role in his current position, he has worked as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Mississippi Law School.
A lifetime resident of Mississippi, Mr. Rozier remained in the state to pursue higher education. In 1979, he received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. Following this, he attended Mississippi College School of Law, earning a Juris Doctorate in 1987. An academic scholar, he was on the dean’s list and was a member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society.
In recognition of affiliations, Mr. Rozier is a member of the Mississippi State Bar Association, Lafayette County Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association, Rotary Club of Oxford, and Oxford-University United Methodist Church.
Throughout his career, Mr. Rozier has had numerous awards and published decisions. He is a recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award in Trial Practice and of the Robert Gillespie Award for Best Appellate argument. His published decisions in Mississippi include Partridge v. Harvey 805 So.2d 668 in 2002, Little v. Little, 878 So. 2d 1086 in 2004, and the International Paper Company v. Townsend, 961 So.2d 741 in 2007.
Mr. Rozier’s greatest professional inspiration is Jackie Rozier, his better half and a better lawyer. He advises new lawyers to, “never forget, your client wants results. So even if your client pays you by the hour – all matters are contingent.”
