Fatemeh Azinfar, Ph.D., Author, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Achiever in the field of Publishing as an Educator and an Author at Ibex Publishing, Inc.

Founded in Maryland in 1979, Ibex Publishers publishes scholarly books mainly in English and Persian. They aim to introduce Persian language, literature, history, art, religion and other aspects of the culture. Many schools and universities use their textbooks for teaching Persian, also known as Farsi, Dari, and Tajiki. Dr. Azinfar has been writing for Ibex Publishers for almost twelve years. To those who want to read her work, she states, “I only gently remind you that I don’t want to change your minds about your beliefs. I only want to walk you through a series of books and help you read them better, as well as my observations upon them.”

Dr. Azinfar has published two books, including Atheism in the Medieval Islamic and European World: The Influence of Persian and Arabic Ideas of Doubt and Skepticism on Medieval European Literary Thought, in which she argues that that the Europeans were influenced by the religious skepticism inherent in Medieval Middle Eastern texts. She has two more upcoming books and three more waiting to be published. She is also known for writing articles, such as “The Saracens, La Chanson de Roland, and the Birth of Medieval Epic”, “Far Away: So Close. Skepticism Rationality and The Thousand and One Night”, and “Doubt, dissent and skepticism in the literary tradition of the medieval period”.

A skilled writer, Dr. Azinfar specializes in English, Persian, and French literature, as well as strategic planning, marketing, social media, team-building skills, and leadership skills. Outside of Ibex Publishing, she freelances, previously serving as a teaching fellow at UCLA.

In recognition of academic achievement, Dr. Azinfar earned an undergraduate degree from UCLA, Master’s degree from UCLA, and a Doctorate degree from Harvard University. She currently attends the School of Economics at Azusa Pacific University for an additional undergraduate degree.

A noted humanitarian, Dr. Azinfar donates to St. Jude’s Hospital and Senator Bernie Sanders’ efforts to help Yemeni children. She serves as a member of the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation and the Clinton Foundation.

The Ford Foundation has bestowed Dr. Azinfar with two awards. She has also been honored as an advisor to former president Bill Clinton.

In her spare time, Dr. Azinfar enjoys writing, reading, practicing yoga, traveling to Paris, and spending time with her family: parents Hassan and Helen, brother Hamid, and two nephews Amirali and Arya Azinfar.

Dr. Azinfar dedicates this recognition to Jenous Aradlan.
